Proposal Program with the Cultural Gastronomic Itinerary in Formula HB

1st day: Departure from the city of origin, arrival at the hotel, welcome cocktail with appetizers from the chef, accommodation in reserved rooms, dinner

2nd day: Departure in the morning and guided tour of the medieval village of Mammola, a typical perched village in the hinterland “where time seems to have stopped”. The itinerary includes a stop at the MU.SA.BA. Laboratory Museum Park, where you can admire many works of art by world-class contemporary artists. Lunch at a typical fish-based restaurant Stocco, symbol of Mammola, used in various dishes. Continuation to Gioiosa and guided tour of the Roman Villa of Naniglio, the Norman Castle and numerous noble palaces. Return and dinner.

3rd day: Departure in the morning and guided tour of the village of Stilo, among the most beautiful villages in Italy, of the Cathedral or Mother Church and of the characteristic Delfinio Gebbia Fountain, an Arab work that bears witness to the alliance between the Byzantines and Arabs, represented by two intertwined dolphins. You can then admire the Cattolica, a Byzantine church, symbol of Stilo
and the Norman Castle of Roger II. The day continues in Bivongi. Guided visit to the Greek-Orthodox Monastery of San Giovanni Theristis, which presents itself as a perfect mix of Byzantine and Norman styles and which is made famous above all by the life of the saint, which the guide will narrate.Tasting of typical products and local wine. At the end of this excursion we will go to the Sanctuary of Monte Stella, created inside a cave which can be accessed by going down a long staircase carved into the stone. A place full of peace and steeped in legends and spirituality. Return in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

4th day: Departure in the morning and guided tour of the National Archaeological Museum of Locri Epizephiri, guardian of testimonies dating back to the prehistoric, Greek and Roman periods, the Temple of Marasà and the Casino Macrì. Continuation to Gerace, guided tour of the Borgo di Gerace, defined as the Borgo delle 100 Churches and included in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy, to admire the marvelous Cathedral, the typical narrow streets and the panorama over the entire Riviera dei Gelsomini which can be glimpse from the Terrace of the Bombarde. Guided tour of a local winery with the possibility of purchasing. Departure for return.
